SOVEC Foundation has been founded by Dutch entrepreneurs to stimulate sustainable economic development in developing countries and alleviate poverty. This goal is pursued by SOVEC Foundation setting up Social Venture Capital Fund I (For more information see tab “SOVEC Fund” above).

SOVEC Foundation holds a priority share in Social Venture Capital Fund I (“SOVEC Fund”) to safeguard the statutory goals of SOVEC Fund. This means in practice that SOVEC Foundation as priority shareholder in SOVEC Fund preserves the social goals of SOVEC Fund.
